In Memory of Jim Flink

We lost a great brother and friend. Jim Flink, a member of the APG team, and one of NC’s most respected and beloved real estate veterans, who died suddenly on October 10th, is remembered warmly by the Triangle’s real estate community.

Flink, 68, was born in Norway, Michigan, and went to high school in Pittsburgh, where he remained close to his high school friends and recently enjoyed his 50th high school reunion.

After college, he dove into the real estate field and headed to Raleigh in 1986. Like many who find success in commercial real estate. Flink focused on land acquisition and helped broker deals for more than 30 apartment complexes.

Flink worked for some of the region’s top firms – Dilweg, Cushman & Wakefield Colliers International– before moving to APG in 2019 as executive vice president.

APG has created a website, jimflink.com, where Flink’s friends can share memories of time with him. The site is full of pictures of Flink smiling, goofing off and playing golf with buddies.
