APG proudly congratulates our top-performing brokers of 2024: David Divine, Director of Commercial Investment Sales, David Batten, Senior Vice President and Broker in Charge, and Frank Quinn, Executive Vice President.
These seasoned professionals contribute far more than transactional expertise to APG. Their dedication to mentoring, team leadership, insightful guidance, practical advice, and occasional words of prayer exemplify the heart and soul of our organization. On behalf of the entire team, we extend our deepest gratitude—APG wouldn’t be where it is today without you.
2024 Transaction Highlights
- Frank Quinn and David Batten represented the seller in the sale of a 12-acre development site at 5321 New Bern Avenue in East Raleigh, part of APG’s 60+ acre master-planned Edgewater Commons. The 12-acre parcel sold for $8,000,000. The buyer, an Atlanta-based developer, plans to build 160 build-for-rent townhomes.
- David Batten also represented the seller in selling three outparcels at Broadstone Station in Apex (±9.35 acres total), which sold for a combined $4,950,000. The 5.7-acre parcel is designated for hospitality and retail mixed-use; the 2.15-acre parcel will feature a neighborhood retail center; and the 1.5-acre tract now houses a Sherwin-Williams location. These sales mark the conclusion of a long-standing seller representation agreement dating back to 2010.
- APG’s #1 Broker of the Year, David Divine, had an exceptional year. Among his many achievements, he represented the seller in selling 173 acres at Covered Bridge Road and Brookhill Drive in Clayton for $20,000,000. This transaction is part of an over 650-acre property representation that began in 2005, with the final piece set to close in 2025.
- David Divine shared the spotlight with APG Capital’s Daniel Walser, receiving a Costar PowerBroker Award in Q2 2024 for their seller representation in the sale of a 93,508 SF industrial property in Wilmington, NC; fully-occupied by national tenant Ferguson Plumbing Supplies. The property sold for $11.9M.
- David Divine teamed up with Daniel Walser again in Q3 of 2024 in selling a 57,000 SF suburban office building in north Raleigh, 88% leased at the time of sale, for $11 million. Selling for $193/sf, Divine and Walser were celebrated for achieving a very high value for the seller.
