Mary Jane “MJ” Parker oversees a team, who in essence act as the platform partners for each of the practice groups under APG Advisors, APG Development and APG Capital; assisting in pipeline management, proposals, client reporting, marketing materials, and the preparation of BOV’s and offering memoranda. Additionally, MJ provides research and reporting support to all practice groups and senior management, in the form of local and regional market reports, and industry specific reporting on an as-needed basis.

Originally from the Berkshires in Massachusetts, MJ relocated to Raleigh in 2015. Prior to joining APG Advisors, she spent the previous 20 years working for a privately owned group of specialty finance companies serving land and resort developers throughout the U.S.
Free time is spent visiting family and friends, hiking Raleigh’s many beautiful trails, reading, and occasionally binge-watching mystery thriller series.

Community Involvement
- At APG, philanthropy and giving back to the community are of the highest of priorities. MJ is active in the company’s designated team of employees known as the WeCare Team, which meets to select causes and area non-profits to support.
- In her free time, MJ is a mentor with the Teen Ambassador program sponsored by Note In The Pocket, and is also an active member of ActivateGood.org, serving a variety of local non-profits throughout the Triangle.
